Jameson Rose ♥ ♥

Hey Aster had such a privilege meeting baby Jameson Rose! She is the daughter of a dear friend and she is the cutest thing ever. We went to the beach to let her get dirty and low and behold she loves to eat sand. Her little dress was given to her by Anatasia, a friend of Jessica the proud mama! 

Afterward we walked back to her place and little miss sunshine had sweet potatoes and her bottle. ♥ how easy it is being a baby.

what we do

At Hey Aster we dance, sing in the showers and play with bugs. We love taking photos of babies, children and happiness. We are people just like you chatting it up with friends on the weekends, playing around outside in the spring weather, watching hummingbirds, making story time, singing in the showers and playing with our hair. We are children inside and capture them in their own state of being free, open and playful.

Vivian, at Azucar, is allowing me to place this photo and frame of her daughter Stella into her bakery!! I made this myself since white thick frames are hard to find... and my good ol' mama gave me the card holder that sticks to everything.

meet Myles

Meet two month old Myles who usually takes his naps when we scheduled for me to come over. I got the cutest ones of him yawning... tons for his mommy, Amber, to choose from! He was so long I thought he was at least twice his age. He was the sweetest little guy and very attentive. I am so happy I got to meet him!

The shoot was right before Easter so Amber also put him in this adorable outfit. He looks like a little man!

play house! We welcome FELIX!

We have come to the realization at Hey Aster that we want to do everything. We want to do the baby photos, the engagement, the weddings, pastries, parties!!! However on our blog, Hey Aster, we didn't want it to get too confusing or misguided. So we took out our sticks and wrote in the sand! HEY FELIX!!! A blog dedicated mostly to the darker fun side, the mischeivious side of children and babies.

You know, the spy clubs, the sticky fingers, the icecream pops and the cake... those times in our lives where getting messy meant MORE FUN!! We want to capture that and talk about it here. Comprende?

Have you no fret! Hey Aster's blog is still reaching Brazil, Argentina, China, Australia... but we are going to tie it down more towards the ribbon tied envelopes like engagement and weddings... events for the refined Felix's who have found their one true love.
